Help answer this question below.

My 1990 yamaha yz250 starts and runs until it warms up then it dies...and then there is no spark..it will not start until engine is cold again...What ignition part would cause this problem? Coil?

    Doubt it as a "Coil" is just that! A coil of wire encased in epoxy. No moving parts,but there maybe a capacitor oe so in it. They are very rugged unlike the "Computer Modules" with "Electrically & Temperature Fragile Solid State Devices" in them. Does U Dealer have test gear for the "Computer" in Ur bike??? If not, it's "Buy & Try Time" from Dealer or salvage yard. John
