Was at the ball game yesterday, and at the completion (WE WON!!!) they had their display, for they were headed to North Dakota for a game today. They had their display yesterday, and I must day it hardly gives me a thrill anymore. Will probably just stay home and listen to the game online or view a touch of television instead.

Watched 'em on TV Rick..it was too darn hot here in Hemet..we reached 107 yesterday! So we watched the Macy's Fireworks in New York, a bit of the celebration in Washington, D.C. But our yearly favorite tradition is to watch the Boston Pops on the Esplanade celebrate..they end it with the 1812 Overture and actual cannons firing across the Charles River as the music ends. It is supercalifragilisticexpialadocious! We stayed inside and ate popsicles and ice cream! :) ((hugs)) Happy Saturday! :)

Nope. I'm English, and for some strange reason we don't celebrate on 4th. Can't think why. :)
