If Jesus walk into one of those new Temples and heard one of those flashy Ministers saying to the poor congregation that they should give a 10% of what they earn so they can keep their yachts, private planes an luxury homes, what would Jesus do about it?

It is through giving that one receives, the sooner one learns that the better. According to the scripture, (The Old Testament) first 10% of increase belongs to God anyway… I think that one gives as he/she is moved to give, hopefully and joyfully. Don’t forget that Jesus was impressed by few denarius – more so then big donations by those that gave out if their abundance. In my opinion, the amount is irrelevant, consider this scripture…. Luke 21:1-4 (King James Version) 1 And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. 2 And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites. 3 And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all: 4 For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.
