I don't go to bars or clubs. Not only because I am married and have young children, but I don't have the time. I am a social hermit. Lol.

Yes...yes I have. Discovered a new bar last month and have been there ever since. Hot waiters...good booze...what else can you ask for?

I haven't been to a bar or club in 12 years. I went to them 4 to 6 nights a week for about 26 years. It was ALMOST an obligation or a calling. If I went back to any of my "old haunts", I have a sneaky suspicion I could probably see many of the same people doing the same things: Flirting, "Liars' poker", "doin' shots", dancing, "workin' on my buzz", backgammon, etc. THE BIGGEST adjustment: KNOWING somewhere out there, there's a "sobriety checkpoint". AND O SURE DON'T NEED OR WANT any points or have to do any "community service" because of my foolishness and stupidity. It would probably take a day or two - MAYBE a week - to get back up to my old habits, BUT I don't have any desire to return to that lifestyle. I have all the booze I need right here. AND when I want "company", I know I can make a few telephone calls to a few of the ladies I dated and had some wonderful times with - outside the clubs and bars. Rhetorically thinking/asking, "Why the devil would I ever want to go back to that whacky way of living - or more appropriately - existing?" PLEASE DON'T misunderstand me. I'm not condemning any person who enjoys going to clubs and bars. I had quite a few great times in those places, too!
