For those who can rate Q&As more than one point, do you just click the + button and give every Q/A the highest points you are able to give? Or do you stop to decide how much each is worth; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 + points? What do you base your decision on?

I always give the full amount of points.

Normally i'd just click it, and i would give the max amount.. but if i were to rate them specifically i would judge on how helpful it was.

There are many intangibles for me on what makes a good question or answer deserve the full amount of points. I used to have a "method", nowadays I usually give the +6's to good, helpful or funny answers, just a notch below that if it lacks a little something. I'm a little stricter when it comes to questions but +5 is given by me for a good Q. about 3 out of 4 times.

I almost always just click the + button. I only determine the specific amount of points if I'm re-adjusting someones unwarranted d-r.

I just click the button. I didn't even realize there was a scale until about 3 or 4 days ago.
