  • You may have a problem with your radiator or some other part of your cooling (yes, I said cooling) system. At least this was true of our last car that had this problem.
  • i just had this problem with my 96 sunfire its a good idea to replace the thermostat but before doing that i would flush your entire cooling sytem after putting in a new thermostat add new antifreeze but be sure it is either 50/50 or you add just as much water as u do straight antifreeze i just did all this actually earlier today it cost about $8.00 for the thermostat and a new seal and i bought 2 gallons of 50/50 antifreeze that were about $7.00 each good luck
  • The Chevy blazer had a problem with the heater core getting plugged. You can try to flush the cooling system and/or backflush the heater core but sometimes the only solution is to have the heater core replaced. If you are a DYI person I can get you more information but replacing the heater core on that vehicle is a major job. Probably 4-5 Hundred dollars. I wish you luck
