My computer is set to automatically update, and does. Yet, a yellow shield in tray says updates are ready. How can I find out what they are?

You're reading My roomates changed my wallpaper on my desktop, and when I went to change it back, the wallpaper screen under my settings was frozen and I can't choose a wallpaper or change it back to what it used to be. How do I get it back?

Hello!
I tried the above directions, and followed the link to follow those directions, and still cannot change my wallpaper. All of the options are greyed out - I can click on the colors, but none of that shows on my desktop.
Can anyone help/??
