My roomates changed my wallpaper on my desktop, and when I went to change it back, the wallpaper screen under my settings was frozen and I can't choose a wallpaper or change it back to what it used to be. How do I get it back?

    I am assuming you're running Windows XP Professional Edition. If you are not running as administrator, that function may be disabled. Log in as administrator (contact me if you cannot do that, I'll show you a trick). If you are an administrator, do this:

    1. Go to [Start]
    2. Click on [Run]
    3. Type in "regedit" without the quotes
    4. Hit {Enter}
    5. Browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER
    6. Browse to Desktop
    7. Double-click [Converted Wallpaper] and change that to the image that you want. Then restart your computer.
    8. If that doesn't work, try this: http://malektips.com/windows_xp_display_desktop_0002.html and if that doesn't work, leave a comment.
