Rolla, Missouri is the middle of nowhere. They try to attract tourism with their slogan "Rolla: It's the center of everywhere". But everyone who's there knows the truth. Rolla's kind of like Skull Island from King Kong. It's got its own weather, like it's in some sort of alternate universe, and the insects there have been known to swallow small pets. Ok, that's an exaggeration. But I personally measured some sort of weird mantis thing at 9 inches long, and that's without unfolding its legs which I didn't want to touch. That's NOT an exaggeration. You decide what that means.
