Bad enough to keep us indoors from dusk to dawn.
-
There is none.
-
We sometimes need repellant with deet in the evenings. Nebraska, no water near us.
-
i've heard it's pretty bad...up by my friends house i have to use bug spray otherwise i come back to my place with at least 2 different bites...
-
Not as bad as it has been in past years, but the local governments have been undertaking measures to control their breeding areas.
-
Numbers-wise, not bad. But the little buggers are the size of a volkswagen!
-
Umm,not bad, could be worse,it's ok. Who am I kidding? It is terrible here! We have bought the mousquito killing machine that runs on propane, dont work we have used the new listerine, dont work The only thoong that works is DEET! And a screen tent! We had to bring the dogs in today as the horse flies are now alive, they are worse!
-
Very few on this area. Not bad at this moment.
-
They are bad in wooded areas right now as we have had a wet cool spring. The black flies are also quite bad.
-
Not bad at all at the beach. The ones that are around are about the size of a gnat.
-
Hey Frankster....My son said to say he is an extremly stupid golden lab,who loves to push rocks with his nose and peel the lable off pop bottles.
-
I saw two of them carrying a cow away just this morning
-
never ever get them
-
Not too many of them here but they are viscious this year. I have two really nasty bites on my right leg right now. Damn and blast them to bits :( I have read that eating marmite or veggiemite is suposed to help, must try it. Hope you are well Frankster my friend. xx
-
Bad. Mary is looking after a sick friend today so I'm all alone. I was trying to read out on the deck. What with the mosquitos and those other tiny biting flies I gave up and came into the house.
-
Bad. We live in the SE United States, in a city that had been built over a SWAMP. But it could be worse. We could be living in an actual swamp. At least they are not the size of golf balls. The ones I saw in Texas actually were. And don't get me started about that cliche. Not everything is big in Texas!
-
i live in florida, so they are pretty bad, or at least with me, i have too many bites to count........lol
-
They only hang around stagnant water in our area and we have been getting regular warnings about them in the media. There isn't that much water with the drought and all.
-
Not bad at all. The drought has done something good.
-
I rarely see them.
-
not bad. we set them up with a rehabilitation program instead of using capital punishment. you'd be amazed at the results!
-
They are the State Bird here in Minnesota. They sometimes begin hatching during warm Decembers and even as early as March in the Spring. They don't bother me much, but feast on the rest of my family.
-
They are alright, though last week 5 robbed a liquor store and the was a public disturbance in the park. The mosquito police are quite watchfull.
-
I've lived in Ternopil, Ukraine, for 15 years now and have maybe been bitten once even though the weather and climate seem to be just like Wisconsin's, where they are really bad. Some entomologist ought to come here and find out why we don't have mosquito problems. The government does nothing to control them--it never has. I've killed a few, but always on walls and always before they got a chance to bite.
-
We barely have any. I get bit by one, maybe once a year.
-
Not bad yet, but they will be very soon. Fall is approaching us. At our cottage up north, they are miserable. We have to wear mosquito nets at night.
-
they're really bad ,they break into your house at night & go through everything,& they dont care how much noise they make:) "i just cant do it"
