No. They don't hold still long enough.
-
Unfortunately a few hares and rabbits and a couple of cats. Had a few near misses with deer too.
-
yes, oh i was soooooo sad, the white kitty came out of nowhere. I was so sad i cried
-
3 deer, dozens of ground hogs, a couple racoons, 4-5 chipmunks, and a duck.
-
Yes, two racoons, I cryed. There was no stopping. They ran right out at the same time, I can still hear the load thump. It was awful. I hope they had no babies. If we swerved, we would have tipped over.
-
Yes, more than one. At 17 I hit and killed a dog with my motorcycle. He was loose and ran across the road in front of me. I tried to swerve but hit the dog in the neck and decapitated him. The insurance company paid 600 dollars to fix the bike. About 15 years ago I had a racoon run across the expressway in front of me. It was dark and I didn't even have time to swerve. It removed the fog light from my car and caused 700 dollars worth of damage.
-
No, I don't have a license.
-
No, but the other day the car in front of me wounded a squirrel. It was freaking out and flinging itself around. Very disturbing thing to watch.
-
It's a given here where I live...if you drive...you WILL run over an animal at some point. Living in the country has it's down side.
-
Nope
-
Unfortunately I have. A few hares, lots of rabbits and three cats. Oh and nearly a deer. Although I think I would have come off worse than the deer.
-
Yes I would think most anyone who drive's long enough and especially if you live in rural areas you will kill animals with your car at some point. I've hit a lot of shit, tried to miss them but, can't. I even had a bird lodged in my grill lol
-
I was driving my bf from the hospital & I was on my cellphone when I ran over a squirrel. Until now! I still feel miserable.
-
For the longest time i was driving i never hit an animal, i would even Aim for Them when i was driving so that i could finnaly say that i hit something. Then one night Mr possum sat in the road, and i saw him for a while, let out a monotoned "Ahhhhhhhhhhh..." and *SPlat

Yes :(

My dad once accidently ran over a stoat and he took it to the taxidermists and got it stuffed. Yes stuffed! The stuffed stoat was kept in the dining room and I was embarassed to have friends round because of it.
-
Well, it becomes roadkill. You don't necessarily roadkill it. Yes, I've done it. Sometimes there's nothing you can do.
-
Not many, considering all the miles I've logged, but a few I'm sure. The only one that comes to mind is a pigeon that flew into my windshield. Ran over a little puppy's back leg, but he survived.
-
Nope
-
That really is a matter of how many miles you have traveled. Unfortunately I've had the displeasure more times than I can remember. I'm a long haul truck driver. One road stands out in memory, I think it was wyoming. It was dead rabbits everywhere. Unbelieveable how many there were. Must have been a thousand or more down a 25 mile stretch.
-
yes. two squirrels in one week in my entire life. it happened in high school ~ the same friend was riding in the passenger seat. it felt eerily like deja vu the second time around. both experiences were very unsettling for me ~ the crunch was really sickening.
-
I go out of my way to avoid hitting animals. However, last year two little gophers met their doom at the wheels of my car. I felt horrible and sad about it, but I couldn't avoid them and I tried.
-
Twice! One night i was driving and there about a thousand FROGS crossing the road to get to the pond, and i couldn't avoid them all so i ran over a LOT of them and it was soooo nasty!!! It was like a Frogger MASSACRE! Birds were eating their guts off my tires the next morning!! And i also hit a squirrel b/c it ran across the road...then stopped... then ran back and i hit it! it was sad! :(

Some ants, probably...
