In your story its as if your hero is charging into battle on his heroic white horse and is about to beet 5,000 soilders Butts and at the end of the cresendo he's there and starts fighting and the music turns to whatever mood the composer sees to tell how well he's fairing in battle, sad if hes losing, exiting if hes doing well, or a solo from one instrument I beleive would fit the mood but its the composers choice.
