  • If he had a legal will it should be on file somewhere in a court record. At least that is my understanding. Contact an attorney for advice to find out if there is one on record. If you cannot find a will you'll have big legal problems. Any next-of-kin can try to claim his assests. Then a probate court will have to decide.
