  • When we drive places, I always red to my husband. We've gone through dozens and dozens of books together.
  • I only read alone. No two people have the same take on a whole book, usually.
  • Will only read alone. If someone has read the same book as I have, I do enjoy to discuss the book. Will just never really go out of my way to read something that someone else is.
  • Usually on my own. Often swap recommendations of books and certainly enjoy talking about them in person or online. Just don't normally say "ok .. let's all read "this" right now". Guess lots of people do that indirectly if they're all reading Oprah's latest recommendation? lol -- An exception? Two or more of us will share a book but not in the way you mean I don't think .. when in the same car and have many miles to travel. On goes an audio book and we all "listen" to it together. :) Do you and a group of folks decide on a book title, then all read it, then get together to talk about it?
  • I guess I mostly read on my own. Sometimes though when my friends are readin my magazines, they mention a certain joke and tell me to read it too since they found it funny.
  • In my case, it's always the latter.
  • The latter
  • I read everyday with one of my favorite people in the world...my daughter. :) As far as with fellow adults, not so much. I used to, many years ago, but my book buddy moved back to Detroit. I thoroughly enjoyed the stimulating conversations we would have regarding the topic and miss it. Now, with 2 children under 6, I long for the days when I could take a book and read it in a day or two...I've been reading "The Art of Happiness" for about a year and a half. Tsk, tsk...
  • I only ever read by myself, unless im reading to my son.:-)+
