I have a 2003 ford windstar van and when i hit the gas it wants to bog out any ideas what will cause this

Simple tune-ups can fix a lot of these problems. Change the fuel and air filter for starters. If a motor can't breath, it can't accelarate with much luster. Plugs could be bad and might be an inexpensive fix. I try to run a injector cleaner, like a good bg 44K, every other oil change. We usually run our trucks 300,000 to 400,000 miles and keep changing the filters every time we think of it. If you have to ask if it needs to be changed, it does. It is much cheaper to replace a fuel filter($4) than a fuel pump($180).
