It means that class and sophistication can be expensive. If one wants to quantify an expense, he/ she does so at the cost of quality. Whether a haircut, grade of meat, or living arrangement, you tend to pay for what you get in return. Everyone wants the value of getting back what they put in, financially speaking. I say that you generate additional value when you pay someone to be an honest consultant to you. OK, I am getting all business-oriented here, but I go bonkers for the opportunity to talk about quality versus quantity. When I see someone walking down the street, I will actually admire quality presentation. I don't care if you have a million outfits. Wear something that is truly spectacular. Same is true with AB. Wear the outfit that is genuine and quality. Do not continue to change hats or make moder... I mean modifications... just to put something out that is less genuine than your real deal, high quality self. The race is long, and in the end, it is only with yourself.... so... make it count, in a way that actually matters.

Substance, depth, and meaning. I would much rather be sparse and substantial than saturated and meaningless.

Food! I've learned that it's possible to eat a larger quantity of food without gaining weight, if it is high quality food and properly timed.

"Quantity has a quality all of it's own" A saying mostly used to describe the Soviet army, it's weaponary was inferior to western stuff, but the Soviet army was HUGE so it made no difference. Consider this. 1 German Tiger I tank. 10 Soviet T-34s. Tiger destroys 8 of the T-34s but by this time it is overwhelmed and gets it weak rear armour shot up.
