If I am in the process of purchasing a home and have a contract on the property, can the real estae company still show the property?

    It is not customary for the listing agent to show the house..IF your contract is accepted by the seller,the listing agent will list the home as "Pending sale" on the mls listing services..now this doesnt mean that any other potential buyers cann't inspect the property or have it show by another agent. Remember the sale is not been final until your financing is complete and funded but most important RECORDED.the home still belongs to the seller till that time. This is why there is a final inspecting time..to make sure nothing has been removed,altered,etc...before it closes..remember that.

    yes they can, but they have to tell their clients that there is a contract already. The people looking at the property can also make an offer. In fact, there can be multiple offers & the sellers will decide who to choose. Most of the time it is on the highest bid.

    Yes. They can show it until the closing - who knows if your finance goes through or not or if you decide to walk away from the deal?
