That's probably the case with some but to say that's how all non-married couples are would be wrong. Many nonmarried couples last longer than most married couples.

No. I think it's up to each couple how they should live and how they should define their relationship. As long as both people are truly happy, then I'm happy.

It depends on the couple. Some couples don't marry because they can't or won't commit. They are fooling themselves and just "playing" at being a committed couple. But others just don't need to be married or don't believe in the religious aspects or don't want to succumb to the legal aspects. I have dear friends who have been together for 14 or 15 years and they are wonderfully happy and totally devoted to one another and not legally married.

No..not at all. There's a lot more to commitment than a ceremony and a certificate :)
