First he has to win. Frankly, I have no idea. It's always a crapshoot. We know with McCain we're at war forever..if not Iraq then Iran. We know that Obama "says" he will extricate us from the evil morass that "the decider" and his henchmen manipulated us into. But there is big big space between what someone says he/she will do and what is actually possible to get accomplished. I don't understand people who want us out of this mess actually voting for McCain...but then I'm not a nuclear physicist so my intellectual capabilities are limited! :)

First we have to consider if he is sincere and think about the USA and make good decisions and promises,or will he think about his own people...the black community. Did he have any relations back in history who were slaves. I think that there will be a certain amount of doubt and mistrust in the community of white people.
-
He's probably going to tax the living shit out of my parents, but I probably shoud'nt say anything because I'm so naive with politics. My dad wanted Obama and my mom wanted McCain. Whatever, Obama's gonna do just fine. I just hope he decriminalizes cannabis.
-
If the people that really control America allow it, he's just another puppet president, his strings being pulled by the same people that have been in control for decades.
-
Nope...because as he's proven already, he's going to just tell you one thing and do something opposite or contradictory of what he says.
-
Well compaired to the republican in office I'd say who could be worse. But I think Obama will be a great president. He's surrounding himself with people with experience, and that don't take crap from people.
-
Yes. He is putting together the best cabinet on decades.
-
No. I feel he is a good talker, like a used car salesman. Says what you want to hear. I do think in 15 years or so, with some experience, he would be a good President. But not now, he is still in diapers. He can talk the talk, but doubt he can walk the walk.
-
I'll remain neutral on that one for now but ask me again in a month or two.
-
So far I'm happy about the realistic tone he's been taking. Add to that the outstanding cabinet choices he's making and I'm as happy as a republican congressman nailing an underage male prostitute.
-
I am confident that he will turn this country around. I think he has already started doing a great job with his cabinet selections, and I think once he takes office, he will show the naysayers that he has what it takes to be a great President!
-
No one could be worse than Bush. And considering the mess he has left in his lap, I still think he will be a good President.
-
I do think this question is asked fairly frequently. And so far, each time it is asked, be it here or some other forum or in real life my answer is the same. Yes I do. And before people make a judgment he won't give him a chance. No one is perfect, so I do not say he will make every correct decision, but how can we fully determine his worth if we judge now before he has done much?
-
It's a good day to be an American!!!
-
I hope he is going to be a wise and patient president and not a paranoic and impatient warrior like most other US presidents in the past that has incessantly caused so much needless human tragedies around the world.
-
Yes, because his last name is not Bush. You could leave the oval office vacant for 4 years and even that would be an improvement.
-
H e is the first black president and he will fulfill Dr. Kings dreams, he will be a good president, not only for Americans but for the whole world, thats why all world was watching the inoguration of President obama.
-
No. His agenda is backed by parties in the middle east, the center of hatred for America. Yes, I am paranoid.
-
How do you think it's looking?
-
Maybe, but so far he is the token....
-
Eh, it depends who you're talking to. On a grand scale it doesn't matter WHAT kind of president he is. Personally, I don't think Obama is out to socialize the world and eat our babies, but he's not terribly experienced.
