  • Going with that assumption, get a voltage tester and test the wire going to the light. Look at what is required for your conversion kit, and look at what is coming through the wire. If you aren't getting enough juice then you need a new, better alternator to make more electricity.
  • It isn't the battery. You might have an under-powered alternator.
  • i hope this doesn't sound bad, but if you want help, just ask one of the many HID companies on the market. i got my hids from the NBO guys, so just ask them, they'll walk you through it i'm betting (even if you're not a customer) http://www.neverburnout.com/Contact-Us-a/125.htm
  • Uhm, you can check a list of trouble shooting problems for HIDs like the one you mentioned here: http://www.squidoo.com/hidconversionkits/ alright, let us know how you do.
  • what kind of hid kit did you get? other than that. first take the Kit out and just test it out first on the car battery without installing the bulbs. red wire to the positive terminal and black to negative terminal if that works then proceed to installing it into the car. check if your wires car correctly hooked up. red to the power from the factory harness and black to the ground. use a circuit tester for that. make sure all of the plugs are connected securely and the bulbs in the headlight housing is snug. or you can ask the guys at mvisionauto.com they helped me out with my install problem
