what???! a miss the opportunity to put a dozen letters behind my name? seriously, as a mid-life professional and dad, one of the things that i'm now finding myself doing that i would have rather thrown up, is read some of the classics that i missed (or finagled my way out of). so, if you're asking about the undergraduate level, i'd definitely stick with it. if you're asking about the graduate school or professional school level, i'd be tempted to trade those 8 years of education beyond college for employment.
