Question

Help answer this question below.

Help. My husband just said he had a dream that I was having an affair with someone at AB. Could you please talk to him, sing to him, just whatever it takes?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again... While there may be a lot of "flirting" going on on AB, there's usually NO REASON to worry... MOST of us who are married have our heads on straight, and as they say, "A bird in the hand...". Why ruin a good thing.

Now, if there are problems in the marriage, there may be more going on, but again, most of us are just good friends, who flirt around, kinda like we'd be doing if we were at a party. (Well, no "showing" anything here, but you get the idea.) ;-)

And logybren, if he doesn join, remember that MANY people here "play characters" rather than their own personality... Who would know if anything "embarrassing" was the truth, or just a way to get a point across? ;-)

- @Screen... I only make a statement in the comments where I'm DRed... It lets me release it. And in MOST cases (as in this one) it makes ABSOLUTELY no sense (unless, of course, someone is trying to move my answer down the list, so their's moves up, which doesn't really help the questioner at all, does it?)

- Not me. I am a positroller. I dont downrate without a comment. see you are sweating it ... you have to know who DRed you. With that kind of attitude you are just setting yourself up for more down rating. negatrollers love to get under your skin. you have over fifty thousand points. and you are sweating five measly points. it is obvious to me that your ego just deflated significantly. you need some counceling. or at least some quality time away from the internet.   And, no... Why and HOW would I know who DRed me? There's NO WAY to tell. As for setting myself up, I've been doing this for quite some time, and haven't been hit, yet. DRers do NOT "get under my skin" any more... And, actually, I DO know people who care if ANYONE gets DRed for good answers. DRers do NOT "get under my skin" any more... And haven't for some time. The comment is so positrolling friends, know what happened, and for people like you, who must have the ego problem, since you have to announce yourself by putting down a simple comment.

Logybren, You've been nothing but elegant. Show him a "dream" question and he'll see that dreams are just a person's fears being realized in an imaginary world in his head. They're not real. Clearly he's concerned, even if on a subconscious level. It just means he love's you and doesn't want to lose you. Nothing wrong with that.

- I know it sounds wacky, but my dreams are so realistic that I very often have to stop and think before acting on my 'memories'. For example, once at work I needed to call a co-worker for help and thought "no, she was so mean the last time". Moments later I realized how ludicrous this sounded (based on this woman's personality) and realized it must have been a dream. Scary real the tricks our minds can play. Maybe her hubby has similar dreams that seem very real.

he means he is jealous of the time you spend on the internet. he wants you to spend time with him. even if it is just sitting on the couch together watching television. or having dinner together. or just sitting next to each other. he is afraid he is losing you to the internet...and answerbag for example. you no doubt spend a lot of time on this site gathering points.
