  • Thats the exciting part of life that we as humans do not always see things at the same level. This is where having an open mind helps us grow and become smarter. If we use this information as a way to argue instead of learning then we have wasted our gift of growing. But if we accept it we can go beyond common knowledge.
  • I propose this picture to illustrate the fact that we don't all perceive things the same. "What do you see? Interestingly, research has shown that young children cannot identify the intimate couple because they do not have prior memory associated with such a scenario. What they WILL see, however, is the nine dolphins in the picture." Dolphins?
  • I often wondered if I could "look thru your eyes" would I see the same colors? Maybe my perception of red would be different if I could see thru your eyes but still have my perception....I think that's why people like different things..we perceived things differently.
  • I've talked with my mom about this but she just doesn't get it. I know that what we see, hear, feel, smell, and taste are all different. It partly explains why we like different things. It's like how people with anorexia may look like a stick to me but they still think they're too fat.
