Did you stop eating tomatoes this past month when there was the salmonella scare going around?

Well, I didn't eat anything with tomatoes in it, but I probably would have if I felt like it. I don't really like tomatoes anyway.

I didn't even know tomatoes had salmonella. Didn't lettuce get it too awhile back? Or was that spinach...Now all I need is for brussel sprouts to be deadly, and I have an excuse for not eating nasty vegetables. Tomatoes are gross.

no i dont listen to the government health warnings they bring out new ones all the time just to cover there ass and most of the time the media makes it seem a lot worse tan it really is.

No, I just ate different tomatoes. The stores pulled all the ones that were not "approved."

No, as none of the tomatoes I was eating had a problem or were from the area they said was questionable. I try to eat locally. I don't trust other countries growing food outside the USA, even in the USA I have problems with, like GMO foods. I want real food.

I really watched where they were from so I would get the ones that were OK.

No, I just paid attention that the ones I was eating were safe.

Only when I couldn't buy or get served them. However, I did get "mysterously" sick after an excellent shrimp stuffed tomatoe entre at The Shreveport Club.

I dont even like them, but we didnt really have a choice. basically all of the restaurants here have signs on their doors and say that no tomatoes will be served.

We did not have that problem here where we live, so we just kept on eating them like mad. Would you know why there was salmonella around in the USA? Regards.

No, we had tomatoes coming out of our ears, so to speak. We buy ours from the farmers market, and friends who grow their own.

Yes, i don't take chances. I grabbed my Pom-poms and went out to my garden and did my cheers to my tomato plants, now they are calling for freezing temps tonight and all i have is a bunch of green tomatos : (
