  • Absolutely! Here is what happens in a 4 stroke bike! What happens with the Excess Gas??? Well, it gets sloshed around in the Cylinder washing dry the Piston Skirt, Head, Rings, Valves, Gudgeon Pin, Fouling of the Plugs & Exhaust System causing all to wear fast!!! The gas also flows down into the crank case ruining Ur Oil!!! On a 2 stroke engine it's not so bad. There the Plugs & the Exhaust will Foul. To Repair, start with changing the Plugs & Oil (4 stroke). If it runs ok, check the "Color" of the Plugs for a light "Tan" color after a week. If "Fouled" change again. If they "Foul" again, U have major Problems. John
