i have always said there isnt such a thing as a bad child...just bad parents....in most cases with our children we reap what we sow!

I think mom needs to lay the smack down. Disrespectful little shi+a$$es need to be spanked and their mouths soaped. You row a little a$$ like you were paddling across the English channel, and the vocal disrespect goes away quick, fast, and in a hurry. Of course, I'm not advocating abuse. Just a well controlled country a$$ whuppin'.

My kids know better. If they ever did cuss at me I would break them in half, the LONG way. Like most things, they would only do it once. But, I know a mom who's 14yo cusses, not necessarily AT her but around her. It sounds ugly and rude, but other than that, the boy is a VERY good kid. He has qualities that I hope to instill in my children. She lets him because she does not want to stifle his expressive skills, but I do not condone it and I let him know (in no uncertain terms) that he is not to disrespect me or the way I choose to raise my children.

I think the mother needs some help from the father on this one. The Father needs to tell his son to never talk to his wife, the woman he loves, like that ever again. Fathers are strong role model for their sons and the way they treat their wife especially impacts how their sons will treat women.

I think its terrible. The Mom needs to crack down on the kid. The kid needs to learn some respect.

I think it's bad if the Mother just stood there and did nothing . She should go ahead and either slap him good or spank him hard ...without worrying about it's effects . That'll be enough to remind him everytime he / she opens his /her mouth in the future :) !

I think it's horrible, especially when the parent lets the kid get away with it!!!
