Yes I have. And I understand it works for some, and that each group handles itself differently (church groups really push religion, hospital groups are there under court order, etc). My issue with it is that you have to admit that there is a higher power, and it is usually religious based. I've heard that they say you can replace "dog" or something else, but as an atheist, the crux of the entire process hinges on something I don't believe in. But again, I know people that it has helped.

It's one of the best books I have ever read. It was written in 1939 and alcoholics continue to use it to stay sober. It really speaks to me. There is something special about it...something powerful!
