  • i never used too... i always thought they were just very vague with description to the point where it would work for anyone like a horoscope but now i sort of believe in them i guess
  • they have alllll been exposed as frauds. If there were such a thing, don't you think they would bankrupt the state lotteries and casinos? lol
  • I believe what you intended to ask is "Do you believe in Mediums" rather than "psychics". Because on it's face, if your asking about psychics then I would need to agree with technois and Paige. Now if your actually asking about Mediums then yes! And if your broad question means do I believe in their ability to interrelate with the dead, again, I would need to say yes. Where you may be having issues of understanding is in that they have taken it to a level where it's also an act to keep their show going and revenue coming in. They are all about ratings for survival. They use a little bit of the trickery of a psychic, they've also been known to have plants in the waiting line picking up various bits of conversations. Other than this their only ability is an inner voice of their own swaying them in certain directions, listening to it is the hard part. Some are more talented than others and may find that if you share, it remarkably has meaning to someone other than you. You need to understand that when you die horribly or totally unexpectedly you are still going to be you and you MAY feel you have unfinished business to attend to and YOU will attempt to get that message across. However, those who don't feel this way are gone completely and happily to the other side and most likely will not be available for communication ever, no matter how you feel. It's what folks call "going to the light". And before you ask, Yes, there literally is a light and once you go as a soul with no physical body to return to, there is no turning back. If you choose NOT to go you can stay in what I will call an expansive black void for as long as you choose. Most likely why spiritual entities often time seen appear to stare blankly ahead... It's a total black void where you will first suprizingly and unexpectedly end up... The only thing you will experience is the total and utter feeling of the shear size of the expanse, and you may or may not be communacated with. Off in the distance... usually appearing behind you, a white light which to me appeared in three different instances as a rectangle similar to a door if it was lying on the ground but always directly behind me. Following your confusion as to where you are and why you are suddenly there you will start to look around because everything is black and your eyes will strain to the distances to find something, anything and as you turn around you will see the light. For me, it would repetitiously appear and disappear almost like a door opening and closing on a regular interval. And yes, the third time I saw it I did go into it and what I saw on the other side would probably blow you away... But then again... I can't prove to you what I saw. But I can definitely say without reservation there is DEFINATELY life after death. Zero Doubt in this kids mind... So be good and by all means don't be an atheist... Take it for what it's worth but I would definately weigh this advice extremely heavily.
  • I don't believe any of those people, or anyone else who takes their little act and puts it on my television. I don't buy the whole clairvoyance or "talk to the dead" thing either. There are other things that I do believe in though, and they are things that would be considered psychic abilities.
  • James Randi has offered a million dollars to any psychic who can demonstrate their powers under scientific conditions. I believe the offer has been extant for about 10 years now, and no one has ever won it. QED.
  • Yes I believe. I don't necessarily agree with all of Sylvia's books. But I do believe in psychic phenonmenon.
  • Having some Abilities myself.. I am going to say Yes.. It is so easy for those who have not experienced any type of psychic anything to discount it as being real !! I have seen James Van praagh in Person.. he is very Good and very Accurate.. James Edwards is also extremely Accurate.. Sylvia Browne is Good.. But I do not care for the way she delivers messages to others.. meaning : she is quite Abrupt, not taking others feelings into consideration..She has been doing this for so long.. I think she Forgets that all others do not see and or hear what she is able to, therfor she is short and curt with her information.. Not Believeing is usually because one has not Experienced it..
  • I believe being a psychic is possible. I dont know about these people. There are a lot of charletons. Plus just because someone sees into the future doesnt mean what they see will happen. the future is constantly changing second by second.
  • No...no i really don't. And that's all i have to say about that -Forest Gump
  • John Edwards is the biggest phony of them all.
  • Not really. Catholic Church teaches: God can reveal the future to his prophets or to other saints. Still, a sound Christian attitude consists in putting oneself confidently into the hands of Providence for whatever concerns the future, and giving up all unhealthy curiosity about it. All forms of divination are to be rejected: recourse to Satan or demons, conjuring up the dead or other practices falsely supposed to "unveil" the future. Consulting horoscopes, astrology, palm reading, interpretation of omens and lots, the phenomena of clairvoyance, and recourse to mediums all conceal a desire for power over time, history, and, in the last analysis, other human beings, as well as a wish to conciliate hidden powers. They contradict the honor, respect, and loving fear that we owe to God alone. For more information, see the Catechism of the Catholic Church, sections 2115 and following: http://www.nccbuscc.org/catechism/text/pt3sect2chpt1.htm#2115 With love in Christ.
  • Each of those has been exposed as faking it - cold reading being their main trick. That and a lot of surreptitious research. To be honest, if I were dead I'd have better things to do than hang around John Edwards hoping to one day tell him to tell my son I left the keys to the Mustang in the chimney...
