  • You can ask at a place where they sell tires and rims, but be sure to have all the information about your car. Make model, engine size, year. Then they can give you the right answer.
  • At a glance, I would say not just no , but HELL FSCKING NO!!!11 First, the width. You MIGHT get away with 205s, but they may rub in the corners. Not all 205s are the same width so some may work while others won't. Shop around. While it's technically possible to use spacers to avoid rubbing, that causes otehr problems which make it ill-advised. Second, diameter. A 185/60/15 as a rim radius of 7.5" and a sidewall of (185 * 0.60) or 111mm, or 4.37". Add those together and double it for a diameter of 23.74" A 215/45/17 as a rim radius of 8.5" and a sidewall of (215 * 0.45) or 96.75mm, or 3.81". Add those together and double it for a diameter of 24.62" That's will reduce your acceleration and is actually enough that you might scrape the top of your wheel well, especially if you drive on anything rougher than a skating rink I would go with 205/40/17. A 215/45/17 as it has a sidewall of (205 * 0.40) or 82mm, or 3.23". Add those together and double it for a diameter of 23.46". First off, that's a lot closer to the same size. Second, the slightly smaller diameter will help a little off the line Third, the smaller sidewalls which are the main aesthetic appeal of upsized rims are even smaller, though only subtly; it won't look like you're runnin gskateboard wheels.
