  • After working in the hotel industry for almost 10 years, there is a lot of problems from that angle that I could tell you about, but as a recent guest in a Marriott hotel, this was our experience: We stayed in the Presidential Suite and the jacuzzi did not work. We told them that we were happy with everything in the room but dissapointed that after paying that much the jacuzzi was not usable. We were very nice to them and a couple of hours after we checked out they called our cell and told us that they would be refunding the entire amount of our stay!!!
  • I recently had a room that faced traffic and asked at reception that I be moved, if possible, to a "quiet side" of the hotel. They were more than happy to comply.
