Because when girls jump, they jiggle! Duh!

And those "goosebumps" they get CAN make them want to be held... ;-)

lol, maybe they want the girls to seize them firmly due to scared. He must like the girl, he is creating chance to get close to the girl. Maybe they think they are reliable to girls when meet difficulty.

They like girls to jump so that they can cuddle into them without looking like the guy put his arm around her being cheesy!

Because it makes them feel more "manly" showing that "this doesn't scare me?" I've seen some answers to this question I'd never have thought were true!!:)

I have been at the movies with guy friends who can't watch the movie. Its great, but it would never occur to me to scare them. Its a guy thing. Now embarass him you bet,scare him no.

lol, guys do that in order to tease the girl that he likes. he is just using that opportunity in order to get closer to her and to get a quick laugh just to break the ice. The guy also wants a chance for the girl to hold him out of fear. Trust me it works lmao :D

I know it works and even though we might have an idea that the guy will do it some how we still get caught off guard by it. What kind of skills do you boys have? I jump & scream and will wind up in your lap. I guess you do what works.

My boyfriend gets a kick out of it-when it actually WORKS, ha ha. But I'm not sure why, maybe they think it's funny. Guess I would have to ask him.
