In YOUR OWN OPINION, IF you believe in "god", what is your definition of "god"? Do you think he's an old wise man who meddles with our lives? Do you think "he" is more like "the force"? Please explain how YOU view "god".

My opinion! I think God is a force. A hugh all giving force that humans can never imagine, ever. There is this force and smaller forces that are what some people call saints. They are old, old humans, that finally got it right. Only a few, in MY opinion, are young souls that had extraordinary goodness.

I believe that most religions, at their core beliefs, are for believing in the same thing, therefore all go back to the same god or force. Its sort of like how we have multitudes of cultures - each culture interprets the god force in their own unique way. This doesn't mean I'm religious. I consider myself an agnostic sort of bordering on atheism. I believe gods to be the products of deranged imaginations. They are devices used to give some people's lives purpose or substance.

The concept of God as a life force works equally well for those who are spiritual, religious, or scientific and adhere to understandings gained from pursuits such as quantum mechanics... I've never met anyone who thought of God as an old wise man who gets involved somehow in affecting peoples lives somehow...

I believe in the God of Abraham Issac and Jacob; I believe that He sent His only son Jesus, as a substitute for the sacrifice of sin. I don't profess to understand or even like all of the horrific things that go on in the OT, but I do bow my head to Him and only Him.

I have many ideas about God. I believe he is the reason our hearts beat, a child grows, a plant grows, the Earth spins, the sun shines, the reason an electron spins; and at the same time, God is like a human, because he made us in his image. Another thing the Bible tells us: Only one man in the Bible looked at God and lived. I think it was Jacob. God even shielded him from all of his glory and his hair turned white. That makes me think he is bright and more than anyone could handle. I also believe the passage says that he shielded him with his hand, making him human-like. To sum up, I believe God is the life force, and we look something like him. He is also omnipresent. The reason that is hard for us to understand is that we are imperfect, and he is not. Points to you for a good, thought provoking question that brought out many interesting answers!

I think that God can be whatever you want him to be. I personally think, however, that Gods don't create humans - humans create Gods. This is not to say I don't believe in God - I just don;t believe that he is any one thing. I also do not believe in Heaven, as I believe that if you treat others well and live well because you believe that you will go to Heaven for it, it isn't quite the same as doing good things just because you want to. But thats just me.

Definition I see is: - Eternal being - Creator of all things - Love - All powerful being - Our Heavenly Father I believe he answers every prayers and that God has the right to say yes, but he also has the right to say no. I think he guides us on the path of life, however, it's up to us to make the decision to keep on track and not astray.

Well i believe like infinity does with time, time gets longer and longer and longer. Space is also infinite, stuff is bigger than us, stuff is bigger than the stars we can see, stuff is bigger than our galaxy and ect. This is also true with stuff that gets smaller. I belive that the chances of all of us being a part of a bigger life force is very real, although I think the gigantic god probably doesn’t know we exist. Think of that picture with all the dogs playing poker, well we might be a teeny tiny part of that picture. I guess out life time we be a small blemish in the dog god eyes, but we are still at the mercy to what they do.

God exists in the Trinity. The Holy Spirit is God on earth, just kinda floating around being all cool. God the Father is a laissez-faire kind of guy, He just likes to watch us all act like idiots. God the Son is in heaven with Him, waiting to be told to come back and drag His children out of a hellhole which is yet to come.

Before I was a Christian, around the age of eight, I knew there was a higher power but I didn't know who or what it was. I could feel it inside of me. After I became a Christian, a name was given to this higher power, Yahweh God. God is an intangible Spirit with a very tangible presence in my life.. He is Creator and Father.

"God" was invented by the Spaniards and Portuguese in the old days in order to convert the "Indios" to Christianity. This is the easiest way to enslave them and take their women. In the Philippines, the Spanish priests and soldiers were worshipped as gods while they fathered thousands of "mestizos". Unfortunately, a lot of converts are still being squeezed out of their hard earned money.
