Auntie is awesome. I think I did something to help someone, dont think it is incredible, but I will share. My ex husband is retired police detective, and we have 2 sons together. When we were married he was violent, physically & verbally abusive, not to mention a cheater. Ultimately he married the thing, I mean woman he cheated on me with years ago. He is a great deal older than me. Well we all have a good rapport and 5 times he overdosed, but he did not have access to the pain killers etc. Someone was trying to kill him due to the fact he has LOTS of money and property. I ended up calling the police and Elder Services. He is now psychotic due to brain damage, but his step son in law is the one who gave him the patches and pills. He is now behind bars. I wondered at the time WHY I am saving his life, when he nearly took mine and our sons. I realized that regardless of the past, no one had the right to try and harm or kill him..

I gave a drunk cpr, after he collapsed from a heart attack. i thought he was dead. i did not give up with the cpr. this did not work, so i slapped him in the face two or three times. all of a sudden, he took a death breath and came back to life. I am still amazed that this person lived.

Ok I have a confession LOL..Back when I was a nurse and EMT we had a neighbor who was mean, and would threaten my teenage sons for washing cars, playing in the snow etc. So my youngest son used to crank call him (no caller ID then). We had one phone in the living room and one upstairs in my bedroom. So my son would call this rotten neigbor and just as it rang, one of his friends would pick up the extension upstairs. My son would say "Is Tom there?" Neighbor would say NO TOM here, then the kid upstairs would say "hey whats up" to my son, so neighbor thought the other kid was in the house. I didnt like what they did nor did I approve, but it was funny..One night I was working in the ER and neighbor's son came in by Ambulance. He flipped his car, was drunk out of his mind, and went thru the moon roof, and was barely breathing. Wellllllll I had to call his Mom and Dad and tell them to get up to ER right away. Problem was they didnt believe me LOL..They thought it was a crank call and kept hanging up on me. So had to have the police call but they didnt believe him either. Untimately the police had to go to their home to tell them. He was released because his labored breathing was due to being drunk LOL

Well, the most incredible thing I have ever done is heal someone. Now, now, now, I am not sure that I did, but I will tell you the story and see what you think. On a trip I went to with my church recently to Arizona, we had a little job to do. There was someone at the Indian reservation, yes we were at one, that was complaining of a disturbance at 3:00 a.m. every night. We went there to pray over the ground, because the owners thought it might have something to do with a Stickman, or something like that. We told them that it was probably spirits of demons that were bothering their dogs. So we prayed. Then, one of the people who lived there had epilepsy, so we were to pray over his body while resting our hands on him. We then started to pray. I was praying and about half of a minute into it, my hand started to tingle. I thought that it was the way that I had my hand positioned. Then, after we got back to the place where we were staying (I told my one friend about this) the associate pastor brought me outside to talk to me about it. She said that it may have been God working through me to heal that person. I knew that it was possible and felt like I had accomplished something good on that trip. Ever since, I think that I may have the power to heal! My name is Jason and the meaning of that name is 'the healer' http://baby-names.adoption.com/search/Jason.html So was it just a coincidence??

One time when I was in the 2nd grade and my sister was in the 5th grade I gave her my lunch because hers was stolen. I mean I gave her the balogna sandwich I made all by myself that very morning and my carton of milk too. She didnt even say thank you. I still remind her of that to this very day.

I was at work one day remodeling a house, when a lady came screaming at me in hysterics that her house was on fire. I followed her to her house and I ran into the burning building to rescue another woman and her grandchild. After I got them out I ran back in and fought the fire until the fire department arrived. I managed to save the house and the family. I was hospitalized for smoke inhalation and a few minor burns, everyone made it out okay. The lady I rescued and her family came to the hospitol to see me and thank me for being so courageous. That moment defined my character. The neighborhood association got together and gave me a check for $500 dollars and an award... what was incredible was I never thought of myself as being a hero.

I once somehow managed to save a guy from getting mugged without even knowing it. I was walking home from the pool one day, and decided to cut through the little alleys where they have the bleachers for the sports fields. So I see this guy with a baseball bat, outside of office where you go to pay for the batting cages and such, and I decide to flag him down and start a conversation, he starts getting realy nervouse and says he has to get home, and leaves. The next day, the cashier at the ticket booth walks up to me and thanks me for helping him. Tuns out he was hiding in the ticket booth because the guy was trying to mugg him.

Many years ago, I heard that the library at my college was selling off some old books. I didn't realize others might have been waiting for some of the books and I arranged to get a sneak peak and pick out what I wanted ahead of time. It turns out that another guy, a friend, had been patiently waiting for the sale to open. When I realized I had done him harm, I felt bad and did what I could to make it right by inviting him to pick what he wanted from what I had purchased. It all worked out, but I learned not to be so pushy. I still feel pretty bad when I think about how thoughtless and greedy I was.

I did something horrible and outed a cheater. He was cheating on his wife with my girlfriend, then started cheating on her with someone else. He was a musician and one night he drove his wife's car to the bar we worked at. It was really dark and we knew the wife would drive the car to work in the morning. He left the car unlocked and we slipped a pair of women's panties in under the front seat, sticking out enough that you would see them in the daylight, but not at night. It was awful and I cant believe I did it. It was over 20 yrs ago. Feeling repentant today.
