Every state has different alimony laws, and not knowing the original settlement nor where you live, it's hard to say. But as a general answer I'd say you could file and take her to court to stop them. Alimony is usually paid when the spouse is thought to have earned a certain amount of the other spouse's income to a certain point, and if the spouse would be unable to support themselves in the manner to which they've become accustomed. Eventually, though, even a spouse that has never worked a day in his/her life will be expected to support themselves someday. I suggest you contact a lawyer and take your ex to court and have the alimony stopped, especially since she's living with another man. It could be considered a common-law marriage.
