  • Well, if it were 4 months, I'd be a little more worried. If I remember correctly, the average stay at a job these days is less than 2 years. So one one-year job shouldn't be a big deal - but be prepared to discuss why you left that job. Hopefully there was a great opportunity you just couldn't pass up, or had been waiting for. I hope you don't have a lot of one-year jobs, unless that is typical for your industry. (Hint - a plausible explanation) Best of luck! Remember, YOU always think of much worse questions than they do. They may skip right over this.
