Here's my opinion: I think the Air Force is the best... with the best strategic assets (personnel included), maintaining full control of air, space, and more recently, cyberspace. Tactically, the most highly trained is the Marines... The Navy has a fairly balanced strategic and tactical mission, while maintaining full control of the sea. The Army I can safely say is a master at the ground offense/defense. All that being said, I think the Air Force is the coolest; coolest weaponry and assets (fighters, recon, transport, etc).

Marine Corp

If you want BA from top to bottom, it is the Marine Corps.

In their own heads...Marines (a legend in your own mind) Quality/Intelligence - Air Force, Navy, Army, Marines... Check your stats.

I personally think the Navy is by far the best, because besides the fact that when this country was a young nation and the seas were the new frontier, the navy was a must have and it had to be good to keep our nation safe and be able to expand. Secondly the strength of the U.S. Navy has predominantly been the factor towards a lot of success the U.S. has had in all its wars. And the Navy contributing more than most people realize. The Korean war revealed brightly why we need a strong Navy. Plus the U.S. Navy has some of the best fighter pilots around still today. I would put the blue angels against the thunderbirds any day. They also contributed a lot towards the the space race than anyone else, which is the final frontier. And most of the astronauts were navy pilots. Plus, the U.S. Navy has quite a few special forces units that are very elite, especially the Navy SEALS, which I will argue are the best special forces in the world. Just do your research on that. Basically the Navy controls Air, because it has an excellent Aviation, definitely controls the seas, which when the world is made up of 90% water, that's a big thing. and anytime a big ass Navy is sitting outside your shore, you're fucked. enough said. I'm not downing other branches. I completely argue that each one is very important, and all have their moments and strengths, but as an overall evaluation I say Navy.
