  • If you are using dye or over the counter colors, DONT do it again, as it can cause ugly colors and dries it out to the point it breaks off at the end. See a professional hairdresser..
  • If its a permanent hair dye then I would only re-dye it at home if your hair feels in good enough condition - e.g. not brittle, elasticy or dry feeling. As this is a chemical treatment then you may be best visiting a good hairdresser to ensure the minimum possible damage is done to your hair. You can alternatively use a vegetable black dye such as Manic Panic Raven however some of the vegetable black dyes are greenb based so the colour may fade to a green shade after a few weeks/wahes etc (depends on your hair type). • Even permanent dye fades and washes out after about 3 weeks even though the box says that it will take 4 to 6. You have to do touch ups and re apply frequently. I know, Im a box red head and red washes out more than anything else out there. When I was younger, I used to dye my hair with kool-ade. I had purple pink and blue streaks. If you like the color and want it to stay in... Go to www.manicpanic.com. If it is still in business?
