Wishbone. Haha. "Time travel" isn't really a category I often read, so Wishbone is the first to come to mind. Gotta love the dog.

The Time Traveler's Wife, by Audrey Niffenegger. It's excellent, as literature - really well plotted and gorgeously written. A reader comes to care deeply about the characters. The pages turn almost by themselves. It's NOT your basic "romance" novel. It's smart, funny at times, full of pathos at others, and always evocative.

Slaughterhouse 5 (The Childrens Crusade) By Kurt Vonnegut.
-
The Time Machine by Orson Welles since it was the only one that I ever read.

The Outlander books by Diana Gabaldon. Different centuries, countries, well-known "real" historical events .. and how these characters live their lives within and around all of the above. A romance too right along with the adventure and intrigue. Recommend the series highly - either to read - or in audio books.
