According to the bible, no. But shouldn't morality come from your heart, not someone else's? If it is sinful to you, then littering is a sin. It sure is to me. The absolute lack of regard for the lives of future generations that litterers have is most definitely sinful, in my opinion.

I am not a Christian so I may not be in the best position to comment. However I would say yes. From my religious education lessons I have learnt that the Bible supports the idea of 'Stewardship'. This is that we are the stewards of our planet and therefore must look after it in anyway possible. Christians are taught that they must take responsibility in maintaining and using wisely the gifts that God has bestowed. This includes protecting the environment and since littering is damaging the environment I would say this is a sin. Some examples to support this from the Bible are Genesis 2:15. "And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it." The drive to "serve the garden in which we have been placed".

No it is not a sin, but littering is not legal and an offense in which you could get a ticket from the police, or if there is a large amount, possibly have to go to Court.

Do unto others that which you would have others do unto you. That which is hateful to you, do not do unto others. "Sin is the transgression of the law." So yes, we could say it is a sin. Sometimes littering is almost unavoidable. On the rare occasions when I have had to drop something for an important reason--such as "here comes someone I dare not look eccentric to by carrying something wet, messy and worthless"--I make sure to pick up several pieces of other people's trash later.

Yes it is. It displays a lack of love for others and a lack of respect for their property. If there are laws set by the local authorities against littering and we break them, we are in effect, ignoring God's command found at Romans 13:1 "Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities". Interestingly, At Revelation 11:18 we read; that God will "bring to ruin those ruining the earth". How much better for us today then to be in the habit of caring for our home on this earth.

The only sin you can commit is when you dont follow the ten cmmandments. However, Jesus came down to earth to show us the way and the path to follow to make our life on earth a little easier. Nothing he said or did was rules, it was all still our choice at the end. So if part of being good means not to littre then dont. but remember its always up to you. One thing about christianity is that God gives us the choice we are not forced to do anything. He askes us to follow the ten Commandments, the only thing He demands from us is to believe in His only sone Jesus.
