customs might find something wrong if you have a felony. I have never had this problem so that is all i can say

Convictions are not tested at first in the airport, it depends on who you are and how long you want to stay, of course from where you are coming, but I have to warn you that we British are more careful

I think Martha Stewart was trying to obtain a regular "Visa" for business purposes. The U.K. Border Agency's website doesn't list a criminal conviction as being a bar to "visiting" the U.K., but does list such things as having sufficient funds, a place to stay and a return airline ticket. Does anyone know if there is a distinction between a regular "Visa" and a "Visit Visa" that would make it possible to visit with a felony conviction? I note that the landing card doesn't even ask if you've been convicted of a felony.
