Why do the divers rinse off after every dive even though they will be diving again soon?

Because they need to get the chlorine off their uniforms. It eats the uniforms and those are expensive, high quality uniforms.

In addition to getting the chlorine off their uniforms, they want to get it off their skin and hair. After a while, jumping in an out of a chlorine pool can cause skin problems and really dry out your hair.

Another reason that they rinse off is to keep them from getting chilled. The water is relativly cold and they do want to keep their muscles nice and limber. So rinsing with warm water or sitting in the hot tub keeps their bodies ready to twist and turn again.
