The series would have been better without him, a stupid character, waste of space :-)
-
He's more annoying than anything else.
-
Actually ...a bit confusing ... Though he appears to be the villain , he appears to be a delightful one ! His sarcasm and wit makes us forget the importance his character is supposed to enact ! Annoying ?!?! :(
-
I don't think that Gene Roddenberry would have been happy with the exploits of Q on any of the Star Trek series.
-
I don't care for the character. His powers seem so limitless as to be unbelieveable. I prefer to stretch my imagination on shows like that, and not to have to completely disregard my understanding of physics. I find the Borg to be much more intriguing and frightening.
-
Makes for some interesting situations, but the character is incredibly rude and a general pain in the ass...! One of my least favorite, perhaps the least favorite, character... ;-)
-
He did recently show me the first encounter with the Borg, so, he may be annoying, but, Ill put up with it.
-
It's GOOD to be the Q!
-
very entertaining........and why would'nt you be annoying and egotistical with all that power.
-
Just put your mouse thingy on the words, media player Ill play a song for you. I just figured this out, I plan on using it quite often....
-
A 'Troll' of the future yo...
-
Pompous and rude. Aside from that, he makes for some interesting viewing. Good interaction between him and fellow characters.
-
Slow down a bit, I'm only half way through the last generation!
-
The ultimate comic relief, once you get past the annoying parts.
-
Q always livened things up..loved the episodes in which he appeared. Was really never certain who or what he was..all I know is that he fascinated me! :)
-
I think Q stood for QUEER. Biggest prancing galactic fag in the universe.
-
human form of kazoo.

All he was to me was an annoyance of epic proportions. I hated him.
-
I do enjoy visiting with him, because if i want something, i can try and persuade him to give me something.

One of the best ideas of the series! "Mad, bad and dangerous to know." "The character Q is a mischievous, seemingly omnipotent being who has taken an interest in humanity. Q's power is limited only in that he cannot overcome others in the Q Continuum, the peer group to which he belongs. Otherwise, he can do more or less whatever he wants, which most commonly leads to him annoying others (unintentionally or not)." I loved Q. He is totally doable. Pouty lips, large eyes, and a sense of humor :)
-
First few appearances were lame, but he got better. I saw the actor that plays him, John De Lancie, at an electronics store once.
-
I think he was ultimately benevolent, in an advanced kind of way.
-
John De Lance and his charater Q were about the only thing even mildly interesting about the whole series.
-
Aww..I love Q! Pompous, arrogant, has no patience for the frailties of humans yet at the same time is fascinated with them. I think he's just a tad jealous. My favorite episode was the one where he had his "Q powers" taken away by the Q collective and Data was the one to explain all the "human" things he was experiencing. Talk about the blind leading the blind. I find Q to be an entertaining relief from the proper, gotta do the right thing, always follow the prime directive theme of the show.

From the standpoint of continuity, I think he is problematic, but from the standpoint of entertainment, I loved him.
