  • Well its probably not advisable.
  • Technically, isn't an explosion of TNT fast-burning powder, compressed into a stick? Don't they put out oil-well fires by placing TNT next to one, and exploding it, thereby robbing the original well-fire of it's oxygen, which is required to put it out? And in wilderness fires, don't the stop advances, sometimes, by burning an area around/in front of it, so there is no fuel to feed the fire. In these instances, they DO -literally- fight fire with fire.
