  • There was always order in the US until the 1960s. People were polite, when you went to dinner you wore a suit. You were mentally ill if you wore white after Labor Day or black after Memorial Day... Then the JFK assasination silenced the spirit of America. Color Television started competing with the glossy magazines and New Journalism brought cameras onto the battlefield in Vietnam. RFK and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. assasinations brought people together. Young people were lost. At the memorials, drugs were passed around. Drugs heal. Like Europe during the 50s, recovering from WWII, America was going through its own pain. Richard Nixon was probably the most insecure president. He was an aberration long before WaterGate. For someone who watched as much television as he did, RN had no trust in the media. His values were red, white and blue... that of a redneck, white male, blue collar type. During his first summer in the White House, RN faced a nation that was out of control. Anti-war protesters, civil rights demonstrators, feminists, black panthers, the Manson murders in Beverly Hills threatened American aristocracy, the first man landing on the moon (a Democrat/Kennedy event), not to mention the burdens of the Vietnam War. During that year, 1969, on a hot June night in New York City, word was out that Judy Garland, the heroine of homosexuals at that time, had died in London of a drug overdose at the age of 47. Drag queens were in mourning, stunned by the news. When a typical police raid occurred at the Stonewall Bar in Greenwich Village, a drag queen put up a fight and three days of rioting erupted. When the smoke cleared, gays were still standing and a movement that was only thought to be a few thousand gay men and lesbians started to grow, leading constituents of the Republican Party to beleive that drugs were the cause of homosexuality. Until 1973, homosexuality was listed as a mental disorder in the APA DSM. On the anniversary of the Stonewall riot in 1970, parades across the country began heralding June as Gay Pride Month. In February 1971, the city of NY failed to stop the second annual parade that was expected to produce "5 times the number of queers" than the year before. Based on a May 13, 1971 tape (http://www.prisonplanet.com/032604nixontape.html), RN believed that "Homosexuality, dope, immorality, are the enemies of strong societies." As such, RN felt that in order to turn the Vietnam War around, it was necessary to eliminate homosexuals, drugs, and curb immoral behavior here on the homefront. At that time, the majority of Americans over the age of 30 thought as Nixon did. On June 17, 1971, exactly 10 days before the Gay Pride Parade in New York, RN declared "drugs public enemy number one," in an overly fanatical, emotional, and factually distorted speech that became the foundation of the WOD and drug policy today. It was Nixon's philosophy that by targetting illicit drugs, many homosexuals would return to conforming with the "normal" family lifestyle and values, and the sexual revolution would be quelled. Of course, that never happened because there has yet to be a substance that adds or transforms genetic properties of the brain or replaces learned behavior. If there was, it would be possible for a person who never spoke a word of French, for example, to ingest a pill and begin speaking fluent French. Drugs, including alcohol, can only enhance or diminish what is already there. The conspiracy theory starts with well-documented clandestine meetings in Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Washington that were attended by Dr. Hilary Koprowski. The meetings discussed ways to stop homosexuality, immorality, and drugs from impacting society. Dr. Koprowski's presence at these meetings is significant since Dr. Koprowski is associated with the first outbreak of a viral disease in Africa that became known as AIDS. Because it takes 10 years for the HIV virsus to become effective, it is often cited that Dr. Koprowski made trips to New York and Los Angeles during this period that were funded by the government for undisclosed reasons. Almost exactly 10 years later, the first cases of what became AIDS were found among homosexual men in LA and NY. From 1980 until 1987 Ronald Reagan never once uttered the word "AIDS" in public. In 1987, Ronald Reagan made a passing deragatory comment about AIDS. While he was president, I personally watched Reagan land in a helicopter on the White House lawn across from the quilts that lie on the mall representing the thousands that had died from the disease. As audible as the crowd was, Reagan pointed to the helicopter blades as he smiled at the crowd saying: "I CAN'T HEAR YOU". Ironically, years later, Alzheimer's Disease took away Reagan's ability to communicate with anyone. During those dark, dismal years when Reagan occupied the White House, trying to convince the public that ketchup was a vegetable, Ronald Reagan could have stopped a pandemic the way that the Chinese stopped SARS, but he didn't. Reagan believed that AIDS was God's anger against homosexuals... and I suppose also against people who had blood transfusions, hemophiliacs, AIDS babies born of mothers with the disease, intravenous drug users and heterosexuals in every corner of the world! Because of Reagan's chillingly strange silence, the greater part of the world's population had no warning, and millions continued to contract the disease unknowingly. Millions that have died from AIDS and will continue to die from the disease for years to come have turned Ronald Reagan into the most notorious despot in human history, far surpassing Adolf Hitler, Pol Pot, and Stalin combined. One prominent theory cites that eventually everyone alive will be living with HIV as there are greater numbers throughout the globe. Dr. Hilary Koprowski who spent millions of dollars trying to defend his name, finally left for his native Poland several years ago where he remains in seclusion. Dr. Koprowski's incessant denial and guilt-riddled torment have been prominent in validating the origin of AIDS. It is one of the most well-formulated conspiracy theories that haunts the Republican Party today. Because so much fiction was carelessly derived in a very weak defense, and because RN's tapes are so revealing about the players, it has gained world-wide noteriety and has been strengthed by facts in several books that maintain consistency. Today, AIDS remains a politically-driven disease. No cure has been released and since the virus keeps changing, a vaccine -- however promising -- will be impossible to offer full protection. Despite George W. Bush's funding provided to supply AIDS victims in Africa with medications, there are serious gaps of patients who are not provided with meds in the US. Without meds to decrease viral load, a victim left untreated becomes a walking time bomb, ready to transmit the virus through an exchange of bodily fluids. The numbers of HIV/AIDS patients is again on the rise in the US because of ineffective clinics that focus on testing but not on treating patients. The monthly cost for HIV meds can be as high as $5,400 per person. In 1992, a movement began in San Francisco for AIDS victims to transmit the virus to as many people as possible. While that movement subsided after 1996 when HIV meds became available, it has since been revitalized in various counties where there is inadequate healthcare for a large population of HIV/AIDS patients. As an example, the Desert AIDS Project (DAP) in Riverside County, California has been cited as one of the most notoriously corrupt AIDS organizations, producing an executive staff that has walked off with millions of dollars. Clients are repeatedly turned away from receiving medical services and there have been threats on the lives of those who have reported it. Some of these clients have either died suddenly, lost their jobs, or -- as it has been with many of the homeless -- disappeared without a trace. Patients receive no medical support, no medications, and the numbers of AIDS cases has increased significantly since 2002 in desert cities, like Palm Springs, with a high percentage of homosexuals and intravenous drug users/abusers. It has become easier to get HIV meds in rural areas of Africa than it is to get them in some of the largest US cities. While some choose to quell the idea of an underground conspiracy to increase the numbers of those contracting HIV, it should be noted that any county that repeatedly advertises AIDS testing is not focusing on prevention, but rather the amount of government funding that can be diverted into the pockets of executive directors. A county that does not offer a balanced program is simply trying to drive the number of clients up, so that these corrupt AIDS organizations can claim greater amounts of funding for housing and medical assistance that the clients will never see. As of 2005, HIV detection in teenagers has been on the rise. Many of these victims contracted the virus from unprotected sex with older men who usually advertise that they are HIV negative. Those who target youth somehow are led to believe that by increasing the numbers of carriers will somehow cut through the red tape, so that HIV meds will once again become available. The 2005 surge in teenage cases of HIV was not among homosexual men, but heterosexuals of both genders. In states like California, not enough has been done with US county AIDS programs to ensure consistency. It is now expected that by 2015, at least one student in every California classroom will have the AIDS virus. Meanwhile, the drug war continues to go on with black males and gay men leading the numbers of this nations prison population which is significantly greater than any other nation on Earth.
