No, though there's no question he's Christian. Senator Obama is running for President to lead this country in what he believes will be a positive direction. There's no reason to believe - even if he was Muslim - he'd engage in any policy that would threaten the country.

I must say that it does. I wouldn't want a muslim to run our country while we are fighting against Islamic Fundamentalism. Sorry.

Not really, although he IS Christian. The "muslim slur" is yet another of the dirty tricks his opponents keep trotting out, like supposed questions about his valid citizenship, etc. Thank goodness his campaign has posted a website to refute all these spurious claims. I just hope they can keep up. lol I prefer to cast my vote based on a candidate's policies that would affect running the nation.

(I don't care if I get downrates for this) Ideally, he wouldn't believe in any mythical, invisible deity in the sky...but since it's literally impossible for an atheist to become a respected politician in the so-called "land of the free"...I'll settle for Obama.

Negative three points for you. Obama's father was Muslim. Remember all the fuss about Obama's rogue pastor? He's a Christian, not a Muslim. Your misinformation in hard to tolerate given the ease with which the truth can be found on this issue.
