On a website with over 100,000 members, who are you to say that the motivation of every single one who downrates is identical? Shame on you! -- I notice that you, yourself, have only an 80% average for ratings that you have given - this makes you quite a downrater yourself.

Yes, it is very cowardly. You did not like an answer I gave to one of your questions. You downrated me, but you also told me why. I truly respect that. I also said I did not like Texas accents, you asked why, and I said ex, you said I had one of the few bad ones. No downrate, even after the other question. Again respect. To hide and not show why you downrate is very low.
