Tell me about the experience of the last time you stepped on a tack......(bare feet)

I must have been about 10 years old,I had a bulletin board hung in my bedroom. A tack was on the floor and when I stepped on it, it hurt and I started crying,went in the other room to tell my Mom and she wanted to take the bulletin board down. In fact if I remember correctly she did take it down for a while. After that I was told I would have to be more careful.

I recently experienced stepping on pins and needles literally. While cleaning out my mother's house last weekend, I discovered that pins and needles had been strewn all over the carpet in the sewing room and I found out the hard way! owwie!

i stepped on a protruding nail about five years ago and it sank all the way into the heel of my foot. it was about an inch long. i wasn't happy.

I don't know about a thumb tack, but how about a flaming hot curling iron? No good.

Walking, barefoot... stepped on tack. It hurt.

I stepped on a nail and screamed like a little girl.Had to get a tetanus shot.That's when I howled like a werewolf.

I've never stepped on a tack, but the last time I stepped on a nail it went up through the bottom of my foot and out the top. Needless to say I didn't feel too good.

I was babysitting in my house. One little girl had a piece of plastic. She nailed 9 carpet tacks through it, 20 or more staples and 5 thumb tacks. She placed it by my bedside, where she knew or hoped I would walk with bare feet. It was just like a horse being shoed. I couldn't get it off, had to go to er, they got it off, I got tetnus shot and I never took that little turd again. The nest day, my kids told me she had the plastic but didn't know where it went. I showed them!!!! Absolutly true.

I do that all the time. I just step on it and take it out. Tough feet!

Not a tack, but a roofing nail. ( I just answered that question, lol) It hurt like a big ole sonofabitch! I cried when it went in, I cried while it was in there and I howled when he pulled it out. To the bone, it went!!

Never, but I stepped on a toothpick when I was 11 and I had to be rushed to the emergency room however.

The worst time was not a tack but I was sitting on the floor knitting, i got up and kicked a needle and as it came back down to the floor I stepped onto it and it went into my heel....I called my mother, ( I was about 17 at the time) and asked her to pull it out, she nearly fainted as it had lodged an inch into my foot! Needless to say I got a pretty bad infection and needed injections in my butt!
