  • i dont dislike soccer, its actully the only sport i enjoy playing.
  • In all honesty, I just don't like it because football is our game. I think a football player would crush a soccer player.
  • I suppose they don't like it because they don't understand it well enough rules included. Have you seen the UEFA 2008 games? Well then you know they get hit real hard don't forget what they wear on their feet. Come on Galooly you know better than to say that, the so called soccer is a beautiful game. Just one question about something I never understood,in which game are the feet more in contact with the ball is it US Football or the so called Soccer? I believe it is the so called soccer, thus the correct name would be football, I have seen a few of the US Football matches and I would call it kickball or am I absolutely wrong? Regards.
  • Actually when you compare American football players to British footbal players I think the Brits are tougher, (no padding or protective clothing,) and they have to keep running for 2 x 45 minutes, not short stretches with rest in between, so must be fitter; lastly, when did you see an overweight British football player?!
  • I don't like it because of the lack of scoring.
  • I am an American who plays soccer and doesn't complain about getting hurt. I think that the reason most Americans don't like soccer as well as American football, baseball or basketball is exposure. Every Fall Football dominates the TV, in the Winter it's Basketball and in the Summer it's Baseball. The Europeans are doing a great job introducing the game of soccer to the US. More and more children and young adults are playing. In my town, more children play soccer than baseball. When these children grow up, the love that they feel for soccer will sway the American way of thinking.
  • Soccer is just generally not a big deal over here and mainly considered a kid's game. David Beckham tried, but not many Americans care about the game and care even less about Beckham. It's nothing personal; we are like every other country, in that we prefer our own traditions. It's really nothing more than that.
  • I say no thanks to a sport that you can watch for 2 1/2 hours resulting in a 0-0 tie. UhhhnnnnnnnSNARKzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz~~~ You guys need sudden-death overtime. That would make the game great!
