YES!! I hate a rude doctor!
-
Yes it does...
-
Of course. If they treat me like a number or a robot, then I don't want them in the same room with me, let alone as a patient.
-
Only when it comes to my horse's doctor. He was good in bed.
-
Yes, it does. If I don't like my doctor I'm not going to trust him/her.
-
No only when choosing a nurse!
-
Absolutely! I've had some bad doctors and even worse nurses.
-
Yes because my doctor lets me know that he is just there making money and does not care or have an interest in my health. He just wants to finish with me and move on to the next person.
-
Depends on the type of doctor. Obviously a good bedside manner is very important, but I'd rather have an excellent surgeon who's a jerk than a mediocre surgeon who's nice. It's different for primary care. There, a good bedside manner is critical.

It's kind of difficult to know a Dr's bedside manner as you are choosing he or she. I do not like a Dr who doesn't have a clue who I am or what I am about. If they aren't listening to me, then they are history. If they aren't well read on all the latest reports (FDA studies, surgical technique, nutritional facts), then I don't want to be seen by them. Yeah, bedside manner is important, but how do you judge that before you've been to see a doctor?
-
Not when my life is at stake. . . . But it is nice if they do have a good bedside manner.
-
Not so much anymore. If they are good at what they do,then they can call me names for all I care;)
