Now adays cars come with undercoating so its unusual to have it done.

I just wear a coat when it is wet out and dry properly after a shower. My skin is still resonably ok, and, as such, never requires a rustproof undercoat.

usually once a year to maintain the warranty that comes with the rust proofing. I have an 06 Infiniti G35 and had it rustproofed because I live right across the way from the beach and it is always exposed to salty air or ocean spray. Usually they do the undercoat and where the vehicle was spot welded. it is also good to put a quality sealant on your car at lkeast every 3 months.
