  • I would record that as a double/triple combination, with a footnote stating it exactly like you did in the question.
  • The out on the runner at home is recorded as you said, 7-4-2. The value of the hit is up to the judgment of the official scorer. If the scorer determines the batter/runner was able to advance to second base only because the defensive team attempted the play on the runner at home, the batter is credited with a single and advances to second on the throw home. If the scorer determines the batter/runner would have reached second base safely regardless of the attempt to put out the runner at home, the batter is credited with a double. It's covered under Rule 10.06(b).
  • I'd record a double for the batter and in the runner's box I'd record the 7-4-2.
